Chris! How did the idea of
Crashburn Cycles start?

"I got tired of working in a factory job. I hated working shifts and getting up before it was light out and being bored to death doing repetetive things all day long. It seemed only natural to start a business repairing bikes because bikes have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember... The rest is pretty much history."

How did you get
the name Chris Crash ?

"I don't know if it's an advert for a story... It all stemmed from back in the day when we made stunt videos and were total hooligans on the streets. I wrote off two brand new sport bikes within a three month period.

After a couple crashes that nobody else could have walked away from, plus all the small crashes from learning the stunts, I earned the nickname Chris Crash. My last name is Washburn, so it wasn't too much of a stretch to come up with CRASHBURN for a business name.

I don't think it's something to brag about but it definitely played a role in naming the business... lol!"
